Barangay Ubos (Pob.)

Situated in City of Bayawan, Negros Oriental, Barangay Ubos (Pob.) is one of 28 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ubos (Pob.) had a population of 1,600. This made it the 25th largest of 28 barangays in City of Bayawan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Ubos (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.30% of the total population of City of Bayawan, which stood at 122,747 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,664 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,600 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement.
