Barangay Villasol

Situated in City of Bayawan, Negros Oriental, Barangay Villasol is one of 28 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Villasol had a population of 3,854. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Villasol changed from 4,133 to 3,854, a shift of -6.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Bayawan. Barangay Villasol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
