Barangay Caradio-an

Barangay Caradio-an is a large barangay in the City of Himamaylan, located in the province of Negros Occidental, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caradio-an had a population of 10,066. This made it the 3rd largest of 19 barangays in City of Himamaylan by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Caradio-an accounted for approximately 8.66% of the total population of City of Himamaylan, which stood at 116,240 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Caradio-an changed from 9,264 to 10,066, a shift of +8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Himamaylan. Barangay Caradio-an is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Himamaylan is a city comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caradio-an, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
