Barangay Benoligan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Benoligan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Kidapawan in Cotabato, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Benoligan had a population of 3,555. This made it the 14th largest of 40 barangays in City of Kidapawan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Benoligan accounted for approximately 2.21% of the total population of City of Kidapawan, which stood at 160,791 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,872 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,555 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +23.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Benoligan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Kidapawan is a city comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Benoligan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
