Barangay Del Rosario

Barangay Del Rosario is a large barangay in the City of Naga, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Rosario had a population of 10,337. This made it the 8th largest of 27 barangays in City of Naga by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Del Rosario accounted for approximately 4.94% of the total population of City of Naga, which stood at 209,170 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 9,332 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 10,337 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Del Rosario is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Naga is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Rosario, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Del Rosario ranks 11th by 2020 population. Barangay Del Rosario is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
