Barangay Dinaga

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Dinaga is one of the administrative divisions of City of Naga in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dinaga had a population of 344. This made it the 27th largest of 27 barangays in City of Naga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Dinaga accounted for approximately 0.16% of the total population of City of Naga, which stood at 209,170 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 456 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 344 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -24.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Dinaga is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Naga is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dinaga, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Sur, which contains 1,063 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Dinaga ranks 1028th by 2020 population. Camarines Sur is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.

Barangay Dinaga is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
