Situated in City of Tagbilaran, Bohol, Barangay Mansasa is one of 15 barangays that make up the city within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mansasa had a population of 6,523. This made it the 7th largest of 15 barangays in City of Tagbilaran by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mansasa accounted for approximately 6.21% of the total population of City of Tagbilaran, which stood at 104,976 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,069 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,523 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.5%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mansasa is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Tagbilaran is a city comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mansasa, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
