Barangay Poblacion VIII

Barangay Poblacion VIII is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Tanjay, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Poblacion VIII had a population of 2,268. This made it the 17th largest of 24 barangays in City of Tanjay by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Poblacion VIII accounted for approximately 2.74% of the total population of City of Tanjay, which stood at 82,642 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion VIII changed from 2,536 to 2,268, a shift of -10.6% over the five-year period.
