Barangay Camanang

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Camanang is one of the administrative divisions of City of Urdaneta in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Camanang had a population of 5,109. This made it the 14th largest of 34 barangays in City of Urdaneta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Camanang accounted for approximately 3.53% of the total population of City of Urdaneta, which stood at 144,577 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Camanang changed from 4,484 to 5,109, a shift of +13.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Urdaneta. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Camanang as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Urdaneta is a city comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camanang, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pangasinan, which contains 1,364 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Camanang ranks 79th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
