Barangay Cayambanan

Barangay Cayambanan forms part of City of Urdaneta, a city in Pangasinan, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cayambanan had a population of 4,440. This made it the 15th largest of 34 barangays in City of Urdaneta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Cayambanan accounted for approximately 3.07% of the total population of City of Urdaneta, which stood at 144,577 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,008 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,440 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Cayambanan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Urdaneta is a city comprising 34 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cayambanan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
