Barangay Cali

Situated in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Cali is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cali had a population of 1,343. This made it the 11th largest of 31 barangays in Dingras by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cali accounted for approximately 3.35% of the total population of Dingras, which stood at 40,127 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cali changed from 1,319 to 1,343, a shift of +1.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Dingras. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cali as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dingras is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cali, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
