Barangay Del Pilar

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Del Pilar is one of the administrative divisions of Dolores in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Del Pilar had a population of 350. This made it the 41st largest of 46 barangays in Dolores by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Pilar accounted for approximately 0.78% of the total population of Dolores, which stood at 44,626 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Del Pilar moving from 387 residents to 350 residents, an intercensal change of -9.6%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Del Pilar as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dolores is a municipality comprising 46 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Pilar, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
