Barangay Poblacion Ward 10

Situated in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Barangay Poblacion Ward 10 is one of 60 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion Ward 10 had a population of 681. This made it the 26th largest of 60 barangays in Guiuan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Ward 10 accounted for approximately 1.28% of the total population of Guiuan, which stood at 53,361 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 711 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 681 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion Ward 10 as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
