Barangay Poblacion Ward 11

Situated in Guiuan, Eastern Samar, Barangay Poblacion Ward 11 is one of 60 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion Ward 11 had a population of 798. This made it the 22nd largest of 60 barangays in Guiuan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion Ward 11 accounted for approximately 1.50% of the total population of Guiuan, which stood at 53,361 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion Ward 11 changed from 915 to 798, a shift of -12.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Guiuan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion Ward 11 as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
