Barangay II (Pob.)

Situated in Ilog, Negros Occidental, Barangay II (Pob.) is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay II (Pob.) had a population of 3,236. This made it the 10th largest of 15 barangays in Ilog by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay II (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.41% of the total population of Ilog, which stood at 59,855 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,076 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,236 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay II (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ilog is a municipality comprising 15 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay II (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
