Barangay Sipsipin

Situated in Jala-Jala, Rizal, Barangay Sipsipin is one of 11 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sipsipin had a population of 5,537. This made it the 1st largest of 11 barangays in Jala-Jala by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sipsipin accounted for approximately 16.28% of the total population of Jala-Jala, which stood at 34,017 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sipsipin changed from 4,926 to 5,537, a shift of +12.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Jala-Jala. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sipsipin as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Jala-Jala is a municipality comprising 11 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sipsipin, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
