Barangay Bangbang

Situated in Kalilangan, Bukidnon, Barangay Bangbang is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bangbang had a population of 1,430. This made it the 11th largest of 14 barangays in Kalilangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bangbang accounted for approximately 3.27% of the total population of Kalilangan, which stood at 43,711 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bangbang moving from 1,365 residents to 1,430 residents, an intercensal change of +4.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Bangbang is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
