Barangay Kibaning

Barangay Kibaning is a small barangay in the municipality of Kalilangan, located in the province of Bukidnon, in the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kibaning had a population of 1,097. This made it the 14th largest of 14 barangays in Kalilangan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kibaning accounted for approximately 2.51% of the total population of Kalilangan, which stood at 43,711 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kibaning moving from 941 residents to 1,097 residents, an intercensal change of +16.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Kibaning is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kalilangan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kibaning, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
