Barangay Kinura

Situated in Kalilangan, Bukidnon, Barangay Kinura is one of 14 barangays that make up the municipality within Northern Mindanao.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kinura had a population of 2,629. This made it the 7th largest of 14 barangays in Kalilangan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kinura accounted for approximately 6.01% of the total population of Kalilangan, which stood at 43,711 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kinura moving from 2,398 residents to 2,629 residents, an intercensal change of +9.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kinura as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Kalilangan is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kinura, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
