Barangay Isian Norte

Barangay Isian Norte forms part of Leon, a municipality in Iloilo, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Isian Norte had a population of 1,177. This made it the 7th largest of 85 barangays in Leon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Isian Norte accounted for approximately 2.26% of the total population of Leon, which stood at 51,990 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,228 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,177 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Isian Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
