Barangay Fatima

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Fatima is one of the administrative divisions of Liloy in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Fatima had a population of 3,880. This made it the 2nd largest of 37 barangays in Liloy by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Fatima accounted for approximately 9.19% of the total population of Liloy, which stood at 42,213 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Fatima moving from 3,611 residents to 3,880 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Fatima is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Barangay Fatima is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
