Barangay Kabatiol

Barangay Kabatiol is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Maasim, located in the province of Sarangani, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kabatiol had a population of 3,237. This made it the 10th largest of 16 barangays in Maasim by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kabatiol accounted for approximately 4.98% of the total population of Maasim, which stood at 64,940 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kabatiol moving from 2,983 residents to 3,237 residents, an intercensal change of +8.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Kabatiol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
