Barangay Malimatoc II

Barangay Malimatoc II is a small barangay in the municipality of Mabini, located in the province of Batangas, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Malimatoc II had a population of 1,146. This made it the 21st largest of 34 barangays in Mabini by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Malimatoc II accounted for approximately 2.25% of the total population of Mabini, which stood at 50,858 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Malimatoc II changed from 999 to 1,146, a shift of +14.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Mabini. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Malimatoc II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
