Barangay Bacar

Situated in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Barangay Bacar is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bacar changed from 622 to 584, a shift of -6.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Magsingal. Barangay Bacar is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
