Barangay Maas-asin

Situated in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Barangay Maas-asin is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

This made it the 16th largest of 30 barangays in Magsingal by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maas-asin accounted for approximately 2.70% of the total population of Magsingal, which stood at 31,308 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maas-asin moving from 747 residents to 845 residents, an intercensal change of +13.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
