Barangay Manzante

Situated in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, Barangay Manzante is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Manzante had a population of 1,951. This made it the 2nd largest of 30 barangays in Magsingal by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Manzante accounted for approximately 6.23% of the total population of Magsingal, which stood at 31,308 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Manzante moving from 1,887 residents to 1,951 residents, an intercensal change of +3.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Manzante is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
