Barangay V (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay V (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Malilipot in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay V (Pob.) had a population of 1,291. This made it the 14th largest of 18 barangays in Malilipot by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay V (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.16% of the total population of Malilipot, which stood at 40,857 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay V (Pob.) changed from 1,264 to 1,291, a shift of +2.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malilipot. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay V (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Malilipot is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay V (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
