Barangay Salvacion

Barangay Salvacion forms part of Malilipot, a municipality in Albay, and is classified as a small barangay.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Salvacion changed from 1,176 to 1,228, a shift of +4.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Malilipot. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Salvacion as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Malilipot is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Salvacion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
