Barangay Mermer

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mermer is one of the administrative divisions of Manaoag in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mermer had a population of 1,424. This made it the 24th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mermer accounted for approximately 1.87% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,479 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,424 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Mermer is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
