Barangay Oraan West

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Oraan West is one of the administrative divisions of Manaoag in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Oraan West had a population of 2,075. This made it the 17th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Oraan West accounted for approximately 2.73% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,594 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,075 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +30.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Oraan West is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Manaoag is a municipality comprising 26 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Oraan West, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
