Barangay Sapang

Situated in Manaoag, Pangasinan, Barangay Sapang is one of 26 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sapang had a population of 3,083. This made it the 10th largest of 26 barangays in Manaoag by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sapang accounted for approximately 4.05% of the total population of Manaoag, which stood at 76,045 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Sapang moving from 2,679 residents to 3,083 residents, an intercensal change of +15.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
