Barangay Pisong B

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Pisong B is one of the administrative divisions of Maria in Siquijor, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pisong B had a population of 249. This made it the 22nd largest of 22 barangays in Maria by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pisong B accounted for approximately 1.73% of the total population of Maria, which stood at 14,385 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 274 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 249 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -9.1%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pisong B as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Maria is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pisong B, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Siquijor, which contains 134 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pisong B ranks 124th by 2020 population.
