Barangay Antipolo

Barangay Antipolo is a large barangay in the municipality of Medellin, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Antipolo had a population of 6,532. This made it the 3rd largest of 19 barangays in Medellin by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Antipolo accounted for approximately 10.96% of the total population of Medellin, which stood at 59,605 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Antipolo moving from 4,981 residents to 6,532 residents, an intercensal change of +31.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Antipolo is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Medellin is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Antipolo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
