Barangay Curva

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Curva is one of the administrative divisions of Medellin in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Curva had a population of 2,468. This made it the 11th largest of 19 barangays in Medellin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Curva accounted for approximately 4.14% of the total population of Medellin, which stood at 59,605 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Curva moving from 2,241 residents to 2,468 residents, an intercensal change of +10.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Curva is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
