Barangay Caboloan Sur

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Caboloan Sur is one of the administrative divisions of Oton in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Caboloan Sur had a population of 834. This made it the 32nd largest of 37 barangays in Oton by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Caboloan Sur accounted for approximately 0.85% of the total population of Oton, which stood at 98,509 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Caboloan Sur changed from 747 to 834, a shift of +11.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Oton. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Caboloan Sur as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
