Barangay Kisek

Barangay Kisek forms part of Palimbang, a municipality in Sultan Kudarat, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Kisek had a population of 1,642. This made it the 29th largest of 40 barangays in Palimbang by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kisek accounted for approximately 1.77% of the total population of Palimbang, which stood at 92,828 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Kisek moving from 1,544 residents to 1,642 residents, an intercensal change of +6.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Kisek as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Palimbang is a municipality comprising 40 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kisek, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
