Barangay Baliuag

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Baliuag is one of the administrative divisions of Peñablanca in Cagayan, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Baliuag had a population of 2,268. This made it the 9th largest of 24 barangays in Peñablanca by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Baliuag accounted for approximately 4.51% of the total population of Peñablanca, which stood at 50,300 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Baliuag moving from 2,162 residents to 2,268 residents, an intercensal change of +4.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Baliuag is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
