Barangay Santo Cristo

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Santo Cristo is one of the administrative divisions of Pio Duran in Albay, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Cristo had a population of 529. This made it the 31st largest of 33 barangays in Pio Duran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Cristo accounted for approximately 1.08% of the total population of Pio Duran, which stood at 49,070 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Santo Cristo changed from 451 to 529, a shift of +17.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Pio Duran. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Cristo as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
