Situated in Rosario, Cavite, Barangay Muzon II is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

This made it the 16th largest of 20 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Muzon II accounted for approximately 2.54% of the total population of Rosario, which stood at 110,807 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,051 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,812 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -7.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Muzon II is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
