Barangay Sapa III

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Sapa III is one of the administrative divisions of Rosario in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sapa III had a population of 4,225. This made it the 11th largest of 20 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sapa III accounted for approximately 3.81% of the total population of Rosario, which stood at 110,807 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,953 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,225 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Sapa III as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Rosario is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sapa III, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cavite, which contains 829 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Sapa III ranks 278th by 2020 population.
