Barangay Silangan I

Barangay Silangan I is a large barangay in the municipality of Rosario, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Silangan I had a population of 9,152. This made it the 3rd largest of 20 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Silangan I accounted for approximately 8.26% of the total population of Rosario, which stood at 110,807 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Silangan I moving from 7,683 residents to 9,152 residents, an intercensal change of +19.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
