Barangay Silangan II

Situated in Rosario, Cavite, Barangay Silangan II is one of 20 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Silangan II had a population of 3,873. This made it the 13th largest of 20 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Silangan II accounted for approximately 3.50% of the total population of Rosario, which stood at 110,807 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,612 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,873 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -16.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Silangan II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Rosario is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Silangan II, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
