Barangay Wawa III

Barangay Wawa III forms part of Rosario, a municipality in Cavite, and is classified as a large barangay.

This made it the 2nd largest of 20 barangays in Rosario by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. The barangay recorded 11,921 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 11,890 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.3%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Wawa III as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Rosario is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Wawa III, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
