Barangay Casacon

Barangay Casacon forms part of Roseller Lim, a municipality in Zamboanga Sibugay, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Casacon had a population of 1,191. This made it the 18th largest of 26 barangays in Roseller Lim by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Casacon accounted for approximately 2.73% of the total population of Roseller Lim, which stood at 43,575 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Casacon moving from 1,196 residents to 1,191 residents, an intercensal change of -0.4%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Casacon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
