Barangay Seguinon

Situated in Salcedo, Eastern Samar, Barangay Seguinon is one of 41 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Seguinon had a population of 437. This made it the 16th largest of 41 barangays in Salcedo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Seguinon accounted for approximately 1.97% of the total population of Salcedo, which stood at 22,136 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Seguinon moving from 447 residents to 437 residents, an intercensal change of -2.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Seguinon is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
