Barangay Danganon

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Danganon is one of the administrative divisions of Sirawai in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Danganon had a population of 617. This made it the 14th largest of 34 barangays in Sirawai by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Danganon accounted for approximately 1.98% of the total population of Sirawai, which stood at 31,163 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Danganon changed from 385 to 617, a shift of +60.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Sirawai. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Danganon as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
