Barangay Pudoc East

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pudoc East is one of the administrative divisions of Tagudin in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pudoc East had a population of 2,105. This made it the 2nd largest of 43 barangays in Tagudin by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pudoc East accounted for approximately 5.07% of the total population of Tagudin, which stood at 41,538 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pudoc East changed from 1,721 to 2,105, a shift of +22.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tagudin. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pudoc East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tagudin is a municipality comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pudoc East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
