Barangay Del Monte

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Del Monte is one of the administrative divisions of Talacogon in Agusan Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Monte had a population of 7,777. This made it the 1st largest of 16 barangays in Talacogon by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Monte accounted for approximately 19.60% of the total population of Talacogon, which stood at 39,678 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Del Monte moving from 7,750 residents to 7,777 residents, an intercensal change of +0.3%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
