Barangay Lower Usogan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lower Usogan is one of the administrative divisions of Tambulig in Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lower Usogan had a population of 932. This made it the 17th largest of 31 barangays in Tambulig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lower Usogan accounted for approximately 2.49% of the total population of Tambulig, which stood at 37,480 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lower Usogan changed from 814 to 932, a shift of +14.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tambulig. Barangay Lower Usogan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tambulig is a municipality comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lower Usogan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
