Situated in Tambulig, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay Sagrada Familia is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Sagrada Familia had a population of 924. This made it the 18th largest of 31 barangays in Tambulig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sagrada Familia accounted for approximately 2.47% of the total population of Tambulig, which stood at 37,480 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 896 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 924 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.1%, consistent with a growing settlement.
